Standard classes run for 2½ hours. There are a few special classes scheduled that run for longer than this but clients are advised of the time if this is the case.
There are generally 15 participants in a hands on class and 30 in a demo class.
You do not need to bring anything as everything is provided, but some classes are “BYO”.
You need to wear sensible clothing and flat closed shoes. Long hair is to be tied back for safety in the kitchen. We will provide you with an apron.
No, you cannot come without a booking.
No, unfortunately this is not possible, as we have limited space for participants only.
No, you definitely do not need to eat. There will be 5 – 6 dishes cooked during the class to be shared at a buffet-style meal when the class is over.
Yes, you can! However no wine can be consumed during the preparation and cooking in the kitchen for safety reasons. Wine (and other alcoholic beverages) are to be consumed with your meal only.
Yes, all the recipes cooked during the class will be emailed to each participant, usually the day after the class.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
To redeem your voucher, choose the class you’d like to attend from the class page. Click ‘Book Now’ to add the class to your shopping cart. When prompted for payment just provide the voucher number located on the email and pdf you will have received when booking your voucher.
Yes we can, just please email or call us AT LEAST 2 days BEFORE your class date, so we can discuss your requirements. Not all classes can accommodate certain dietary requirements.
Yes, this is possible but you must give us a minimum of 7 days notice of the change to reschedule into another class. If you need to cancel the class at all, we require 14 days notice in order for you to receive a full refund. However, you are most welcome to replace yourself with a friend to avoid losing your payment.
Yes. We can provide corporate events for up to 30 people in the studio. Please contact us via email cook@tastebudds.com.au with your request. (We can cater for larger groups off site, please e-mail us with your enquiry)
Yes, we can provide any kind of celebration event. Please contact cook@tastebudds.com.au with your request.
No, no need to be an awesome chef! We run classes that teach you how to do something new, we go through simple knife skills and you will work in a team of ~4 people, so the group works together. Our classes are suitable for everyone!
