Sophie has been catering for the last 12 years offering private dinner parties, stand up canape events and long table dinners. Sophie has a competent team who work with her.

Enjoy a team building cooking class with a cuisine of your choice
After closing the Studio on Lord Street in Highgate at the end of 2019, Sophie now runs online and in person classes through the Class Bento platform.
Sophie’s culinary repertoire flourished whilst working at Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant, followed by Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall restaurant as Chef de Partie, where she developed and refined her culinary techniques, especially with seafood, hand made pasta and gnocchi.
Sophie opened Taste Budds Cooking Studio in 2012, a cooking school fully dedicated to teaching home cooks how to make delicious meals and how to minimise food waste in everyday living.
Sophie has infused flavours from her global travels with WA produce, bringing acclaim from journalists and diners alike. An ambassador for Beta Spuds, she has since established herself as an authority for minimising food waste within the culinary industry. She has participated in multiple Food and Wine Festivals around the State as well as cooking with some of the worlds greatest chefs including Antonio Carluccio and Gennaro Contaldo.
She gives back to the community by working with Tranby Engagement Hub (Uniting WA) and corporate organisations to cook food that would otherwise go to land fill and provides nutritional and delicious food to the homeless. Simply, she cooks with a conscience!
Sophie has had the pleasure of cooking for these famous foodies: Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean), Kate Winslet (at Rick Stein’s just after Titanic was released), The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh (at the CHOGM Big Aussie BBQ), The Forrest Family (Western Australian mining magnates), James Packer (Crown Casino owner), Kerry Stokes (Channel 7 in Australia), Neil Perry (The Rockpool Group legendary chef), Todd Carty (Mark from Eastenders), Jimmy Tarbuck (UK comedian who loved my sticky toffee pudding), Imogen Stubbs (actress who played Lucy in Sense and Sensibility), Roger Taylor (the drummer from Queen, Sophie was a chef on his 125ft super yacht, Tigerlily), Guillaume Brahimi of Bistro Guilleme.
